Decontamination of Magnesium Slag

چکیده
Magnesium slag is a valuable resource when proper disposal and utilization are adopted. The main pollution of magnesium caused dust fluorine pollution. Formation mechanism fine investicated. Alike steel slag, phase transition dicalcium silicate in around 500 °C brings volume expansion, which causes the disintegration powdering slag. Chamical stabilization experiments were carried out. effects phosphorus compounds, boron compounds rare earth oxides doping on was discussed. Catalytic action calcium fluoride smelting revealed. Fluoride-free mineralizers for tested industrial scale.

Slag Behavior in Gasifiers. Part II: Constitutive Modeling of Slag
The viscosity of slag and the thermal conductivity of ash deposits are among two of the most important constitutive parameters that need to be studied. The accurate formulation or representations of the (transport) properties of coal present a special challenge of modeling efforts in computational fluid dynamics applications. Studies have indicated that slag viscosity must be within a certain r...
متن کاملMicrobial Decontamination of Spices Using Cold Plasma
Most of spices are produced using traditional systems. In unsanitary conditions, spices can contain large numbers of pathogenic microbes such as bacteria, molds and yeasts. Some microorganisms are known as human pathogens, which need disinfection mechanisms that minimize their potential harms to active substances in spices. Use of contaminated spices in foods can significantly decrease the shel...
متن کاملDecontamination.
Decontamination is the removal or reduction of chemical, biologic, or radiologic agents from the patient's skin, mucosa, lungs, and gastrointestinal tract. Decontamination is an important step in decreasing the clinical effects of the agent on the patient, as well as protecting coworkers from exposure. For most agents and the vast majority of scenarios, the removal of clothing and a simple 5- t...
متن کاملComparison of Magnesium Oxide Extraction from Victorian Brown Coal Fly Ash and Steel Making Slag Using Regenerative Ammonium Chloride
In this study, the treatment of fly ash and steel making slag in aqueous ammonia chloride has been conducted. These zero-value wastes have distinctively high concentrations of magnesium, calcium and iron. The ammonium chloride has been employed as the leaching reagent to extract MgO out of fly ash and slag, and the dissolved cations in the leachate were subsequently precipitated by carbonation....
